Passed away peacefully in her 82nd year, with her family present, in the ICU unit of the Trillium Health Centre (Mississauga), following complications from a recent series of strokes. She retired from Ontario Hydro in 1983. Predeceased by her husband Andry (in 1977), she is survived by her children George, Helen and son-in-law Stephen, Anne and son-in-law Peter. She was a loving grandmother to Mark and Andrew (Mizzi) and Philip (Sochan).
