Maria was like a sister to myself and my sisters, Gordiana, Lurdes, Zulmira and Fatima and like a daughter to our late Father and Mother Manuel & Almerinda(Maria's Madrinha)Paiva. We all hold Maria very close to our hearts, we could always depend on her kindness and open heart, Maria was always there when someone needed help without expecting anything in return. Maria will be dearly missed by many but she will live forever in our hearts. We know that Maria is in a better place and the suffering has ended, that alone should ease some of your pain and grief. Dear Medeiros Family , I am writing this message to express deep sorrow for your loss. I knew Senhora Maria , for a very long time and shall always remember her. She was the most kind hearted friend that I ever knew. In fact, I shall always be thankful to God for the loving friend that he blessed me with. I shall never again see a more happy person than Senhora Maria . I feel that your loss is a loss to all the people who knew her. Senhora Maria , happiest person that I ever knew. She was not just a great friend but was also a person who taught us to be happy and joyful. She always stood by me in all the difficult times and made sure that I never gave up.
