June 14, 1934 - April 7, 2008Peacefully , surrounded by her family at the Toronto General Hospital on Monday, April 7, 2008. Beloved wife of David. Loving mother of Delia and Jose, Goretti Tavares, David and Anita, and Denny and Denise. Devoted grandmother of Jesse, Jonathan, Ryan, Lisa, Jordan, Jennifer, Aaron and Gervais. Sadly missed by her sister Ilda, and brothers Antonio and Guilherme, as well as by her many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst Street (near Dundas) on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday at 9 am from Santa Cruz Church (Dovercourt & Argyle). Interment to follow at Prospect Cemetery."
