Obituary
On January 27, 2022, Heaven gained an Angel.
It is with great sadness that the David family announces the peaceful passing of Maria Pereira David at the age of 94.
Maria lived a long & beautiful life as a beloved wife, devoted Mother, adored Grandmother, loving Great Grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her two children Toni (Luis), Lena (Rogerio), and her daughter-in-law Maria; her five grandchildren: Michael (Pamela), Jamie (Pascoal), David (Marisa), Jessica (Henrique), and Mark; her six great-grandchildren: Samantha, Anthony, Jonathan, Matheo, Jordyn and Luca; along with many other relatives & friends.
Maria was predeceased by her loving husband Antonio and her late son Tony.
Gone from our sight, forever in our hearts.
A visitation is scheduled for Monday, January 31, 2022 from 4-9 pm at Cardinal Funeral Home on Bathurst. Due to COVID-19 limitations, we ask that you please sign up for a scheduled viewing time.
If desired, memorial donations to either the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
The funeral mass and burial will take place in Caranguejeira, Leiria, Portugal.
