Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Maria Vasconcelos on April 22, 2019 at Toronto Western Hospital. Surrounded by the love of all her children she passed peacefully and has been eternally reunited with her dear and adoring husband, Constantino (2005). Maria loved people. She adored and doted over her family and she just loved to be surrounded by those she loved. Family was everything to Maria ,but if you weren't family by blood, that was okay, she would take you under her wing and care for you and most definitely feed you! Her outgoing and friendly nature was well received by all and she was also a great listening ear. If Maria wasn't out being her usual social butterfly self she would be found with a crochet hook in hand watching her Telenovelas. When getting out proved difficult for Maria, she'd simply reach for the phone to stay connected; it didn't matter if you were down the street or overseas. Maria will be missed by all who were blessed to have her in her life. Her children Manuel (Maria), Maria (Leonardo), Virginia (Argiris) and Debby (Carlos) will forever cherish her legacy along with grandchildren Amy, Adrian, Samantha, Taylor, Jacob, Rylie and Jessica and great grandchildren Nathanael and Natalie. Forever to be missed and fondly remembered by family and extended family near and far. Friend, mom, vovo, doba, sister - no matter how you knew her, she loved and cherished you.
