Obituary

Our most cherished May left us too soon on November 11 at 11:11 PM, after a brief illness. She blessed us with 82 years of love and generosity. Her sense of curiosity, her impish nature, and adventurous excursions in food fostered in us a love for life. More than that, she was the yarn from which the tapestry of our family was woven and our stories spun. Beloved wife of the late Poon Tat, she will be sorely missed by her children Mary (Douglas), Steve (Tiffany), James (Maria), Madeline (Mark); brother Peter (Alice); niece Jody (Benoit), and nephews Jason (Amanda) and Justin. She will be forever loved by her six grandchildren – Nic, Stefany, Chris, Jamie, Robin and Ben. Funeral services for May at Cardinal Funeral Home:   Viewing - Friday, November 15, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.    Service - Saturday, November 16, 10:00 AM   Interment - Approximately 11:30 AM, Mount Pleasant Cemetery    Lunch - 1:30 PM, Dragon Pearl Restaurant, 865 York Mills Road

Madeline. This is Sal, I was with you at uni at UofT, a friend of Gailina, from whom I heard the sad news. What I remember most from those days was your lovely smile, and now seeing your mum's photo, I can see where you got it from. She will always be in her your hearts, & her memory & energy will always be with you giving you strength when you most need it.
