Obituary
After a prolonged hospital stay, Nadia passed away at St. Michael's Hospital on January 11, 2014 at the age of 58. She is predeceased by her parents Wasyl and Raisa (Hurska) Koshedub. She leaves behind her grieving husband and is deeply missed by her sister Katya Koshedub and her husband Chris Colaco along with their children, Nadia's nephew William and niece Sabrina, of Bradenton, Florida. Nadia was born and grew up in Montreal. She was a graduate of Rosemount High School and McGill University. Nadia enjoyed traveling, restaurants and attending a variety of cultural events. She had a deep Christian faith and was an active member of St. Demetrius Orthodox Parish. She was a Canadian proud of her Ukrainian heritage. She will be fondly remembered and missed by family and friends. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and most of all at St. Michael’s Hospital for their kind care. Visitation at Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St. (near Keele St.) on Tuesday, January 14 from 2- 4 and 6:30-9 p.m. Panachyda at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service to be held on Wednesday, January 15 at 9:15 a.m at Cardinal Funeral Home followed by an Orthodox Rite of Funeral at 10am Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. Demetrius, 3338 Lake Shore Boulevard West, Etobicoke. Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery. In Nadia’s memory donations may be made to Children of Chornobyl Canadian Fund, 2118-A Bloor St. W., Suite 200, Toronto ON, M6S 1M8 or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.Visitation
