I am very sorry to have recently learned of Nina Matzer's passing. Nina was a friend of my Mother's from their days near Vinnista. When my Mother passed away in 1971, Nina and Karlo took us in for a week while our home was being prepared in Etobicoke, for our move from Montreal. They would invite us to their cottage near Sutton, and would try to make us feel at home in our new neighbourhood. Both were kind and gracious people and my memories will always be fond of them.
