To the Stanko family Recent eye surgery prohibits me from personally attending the funeral services for your mother but I am with you in spirit. Loosing my mother was one of the most difficult things I had to face. Nearly two years later, I still have days when I think she is just a phone call away - ready to answer a question I may have about our family history, or to tell me how much poppyseed she puts in her yummy poppyseed torte. We think of our mothers at the strangest of times. Like yesterday when a friend dropped off a jar of freshly canned dill pickles and I felt my eyes tear. It seems that mothers are always with us. Their wisdom and love continues to be a part of us well beyond their day of passing. Remember all the special moments you shared together as they will live on. I remeber your mother as being a strong and powerful leader, ever engaged in activities and community causes. She raised wonderful children through her power of example. She was a pillar in our community and I know she will be missed by many. Taras Shipowick
