Olga Toroshenko fell asleep in the Lord peacefully at her home in Toronto on January 27, 2010, at the age of 90. Born in Lenkivitsi, Bukovyna, Ukraine. A long time resident of Windsor, Ontario. Deeply missed by her children Taras of Edmonton, Motrya (Roman Anddryjowycz) of Toronto, Ostap (Natalia Zymowec) of Vegreville, Alberta, and Bohdan of Toronto; also sadly missed by grandchildren Stefan & Anton Andryjowycz of Toronto, and Laryssa & Olenka Toroshenko of Edmonton. Pre-deceased by husband Yury, sister Stefka, and brothers Osyp & Volodymyr.
She will be remembered for her dedication and contribution to the Ukrainian community, museums, and church. Her artisitic touch and love of Ukrainian culture and traditions, embroidery, pysanky, and the culinary arts has been passed on and is cherished. Her love of flowers and most of all her devotion to family will remain in our hearts."
