Obituary
Muz, Oresta (Oricia) – Passed away peacefully in her sleep the morning of Saturday, February 8th, 2014 at Ivan Franko Nursing Home – Royal York, Toronto in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her loving husband, Wasyl Muz in 1980, her two sisters Luba (Pawlo) and Dzuina (Bohdan) and her beloved nephew Walter. In great sadness, Oricia leaves behind her son Orest. She will be fondly remembered by Ursula, Sabrina, Geoffrey (Amanda) and Michael Coolen and her cousin Wolodymyr, his wife Laryssa and their children Ula and Lada. Oricia's She will be missed by her nieces and nephews Yurij, Lara (Jim), Michael (Amy), Maksym, Anne-Marie, Julia, Isabella and Christian. She will also be in the hearts of Irene and Bill. Oricia will always be in the memory of her friends in Ukraine, Nadia, Slawchia, Ivanka and Oksana and family. Friends and family are invited to gather at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St. (east of Keele) for visitation on Thursday, February 13th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. with Panachyda at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday, February 14th at 10 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, (4 Bellwoods Ave.) with interment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery. Tryzna (memorial luncheon) to take place following the burial at 1 p.m. at Baby Point Lounge, 343 Jane St. The family would like to thank the staff at Ivan Franko Nursing Home for their compassionate and caring service.
