Dubniak, Paraska - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother on May 13, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Roman. Dear mother of Bohdan (Gail), Mary (the late Roman) and Peter (Jacqueline). Loving Baba of Paul (Cheryl) and Katie. Resting at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst Street (north of Dundas ). Visitation on Thursday May 16th from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm with Panachyda at 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass on Friday May 17th at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church (4 Bellwoods Ave.) at 10 am. Interment at St. Volodymyr ‘s Cemetery, Oakville. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.Visitation

Hello All - I gave Gail a Sympathy card today for the Family - I thank you for a lovely service and amazing lunch - your Mom would be very proud. I know you will all miss her dearly but have a lifetime of memories for the great person that she was and the joy she brought to the family. I will always remember the warm reception she gave our Family and the amazing meals we all enjoyed at Bellwoods. I know my Parents always felt welcomed at their home despite very different cultural backgrounds. I am going to make a donation on your Mother's behalf to Spinal Cord Injury Ontario for adults who need assistance with funding for equipment. There is always a lot of funding for children but more difficult for adults. Take care and sending love and hugs.

Dear Dubniak Family,
Although no words can really help to ease the loss of Auntie Polly, just know that you are all in our every thought and all our prayers.
It gives me great comfort to think that Auntie Polly is now with my Baba and Gido, and your father (and grandfather)Roman up in Heaven. It makes me smile to imagine them all together again. I have very fond memories of Auntie Polly, many that make me smile. So although this is a very sad time for everyone and our hearts are heavy, it is also a time for a smile, for the wonderful life she lived and memories she has left behind.
