Obituary
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 20th, 2008 in her 93rd year. Devoted wife of the late Stanley and dear mother of Marika (David) Paquin and Stephen Mentuch. Baba will be missed by her grandchildren Johanna and Stephanie Paquin and Erin and Neil Mentuch. Also survived by many other family members and friends both in Canada and Ukraine. Pelahia will be especially remembered for her appreciation of religion, education and family. Special thanks to Mila Krytiuk-Ellis and her friends and staff at the Golden Orchard Seniors Home. Pelahia is resting at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St. (east of Keele) on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008 from 6-9 p.m. with Panachyda at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service commencing Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008 at 9 a.m. then to The Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Holy Protection (Leeds St.) for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at York Cemetery.
