Obituary
Suddenly at Markham Stouffville Hospital on February 5, 2009 in her 85th year. Beloved mother of Philip and wife Anne, and devoted grandmother of Laura and Mark. She will be missed by her sister Anna in Italy. Speranza was predeceased by her husband Giuseppe (1983). The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Sunrise Senior Living for the many wonderful memories they gave Speranza during her stay.
Family and friends may call at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst Street (north of Dundas) on Saturday from 2-5 pm, and Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church on Monday, February 9, 2009 at 9:45 am. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Speranza’s memory may be made to your favourite charity."
