Obituary

Stefania Eberhardt was born Stefania Popivniak on Nov 21, 1924, in Popeli in Lviv Region in Ukraine. At the age 18 Stefania was taken by force to labour in Germany.  Stefania came to Canada in the early 50s and married Myron Erberhardt.
Stefania lived at 24 Priscilla Ave Toronto for most of her life in Canada and had friends in her community.
She worked at TD Bank for 27 years.
Stefania was a quiet person but was active in Ukrainian church, Church of Holy Protection and Ukrainian Social Services. She was close with and supported her family in Ukraine. Although Stefania had no children of her own, she loved children, and left a bequest to Pomich Ukraini Fund to be used for orphans or orphanages in Ukraine.
Stefania was predeceased by two brothers in Ukraine and leaves behind Cousin Vera in Ukraine, her niece Lila and nephew Roman Yavorsky in Ukraine and a step-daughter Jaroslava in Czech Republic.
Olga Winchur would like to thank the Eatonville Nursing Home for giving Stefania a pleasant last twenty months of her life.
