Obituary

Teresa Moura (1935-2022) was born in Chaves, Portugal. In 1964, she immigrated to Canada with her husband, Antonio, in search of new opportunities and built a wonderful life. She leaves behind three children and two grandchildren – the essence of her pride and joy.

After a battle with cancer, she is now at peace and reunited with her husband of 50 years.

Although she only attended elementary school in her hometown, she was always passionate about education. To honour her legacy, a new scholarship has been established to support students entering the Personal Support Worker program. This is also an endearing tribute to the PSWs who cared for Teresa during her illness for close to two years.

For those who wish memorial donations can be made to the Teresa Moura Memorial Scholarship at humber.ca/teresa-moura
