Obituary
Tillie, (nee Stefanik), passed peacefully just 2 months short of her 99th birthday.
Tillie lived her life enthusiastically, passionately, and without regret. She was predeceased by her only husband, Dr. Michael Grapko. After many years of marriage, Tillie and Michael divorced amicably and they remained caring and supportive friends to each other until Michael passed in December 2013.
Tillie leaves behind her daughters, Dr. Deborah Grapko and Janice Chytra. Tillie was ‘Nana’ to her grandchildren Stefanie (Benjamin) Schoene, Michael (Bethany) Buba, Jennifer and Laura Chytra, as well as ‘Grandnan’ to her great grandchildren, Sebastian and Dominic Schoene and Eva Buba. Tillie is also survived by her sister in law, Marie Stefanik, as well as by many nieces and nephews.
Tillie loved art, music, entertaining, design, gardening, her career in real estate, her church groups, volunteer work and continuing education. She was an unparalleled hostess. Her vibrant and optimistic approach to life will be missed.
A small private family service will be held.
