Obituary

Tsampiras, Toula (Nee: Theofilopoulou) October 20, 1931 – November 22, 2023 It is with heavy hearts the family of Toula Tsampiras announces the peaceful passing of their beloved mother on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the age of 92 years. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her children: Penny, Eve (Tony), Helen (Naz) and George; grandchildren: Nicholas, Kristyn (Domenic), Michael (Maria), Nicole, Nathan, Mia, Paige and Nikolas; and great grandchildren: Neo and Lukas. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 34 years, Nick; sisters: Sophia, Helen, Niki; brother, John; and her parents: Aristomenis and Evanthia Theofilopoulou. At the age of 22, she left her entire family in Greece to seek a better life in Canada. In the years that followed, she arranged for all of her family members, as well as her husband-to-be, to join her. She learned to speak English, held a variety of jobs, ultimately owned businesses, and became a property owner and landlord. She will be remembered as someone who loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren unconditionally. She was steadfast in providing support, guidance and instilling many positive values, including the importance of family. She created a loving and nurturing home environment, and fostered a strong familial bond. She was a strong, courageous, independent, kind, patient and generous woman who loved to socialize with friends and family, and to live life to the fullest.   All who knew and loved her will miss her dearly and remember her fondly.
