Obituary

*Please note that the visitation and service times were revised.*

With profound sorrow and tender hearts, we share the passing of Valerie Chin (Reilly), affectionately known as Cherry, embraced by her loved ones at the age of 89. She peacefully journeyed to be with God in the comfort of her home. She now joins her beloved husband Edmund and cherished son David in eternal peace.

Valerie was a loving mother to her two surviving daughters, Moyin Roias (Antonio Roias) and Adaline Gawlik (Roman Gawlik). Her absence will be deeply felt by her grandchildren Matthew, Jillian, David, Victoria, and Madison.

Words fall short in expressing the magnitude of our loss. Valerie's presence graced our lives in countless ways, leaving behind memories that will forever be cherished.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to all who offered support, comfort, and love during this difficult time. Your kindness has been a source of solace and strength.

Valerie's legacy of love and warmth will continue to resonate within our hearts, guiding us with her enduring spirit. May she rest peacefully in the arms of God, forever remembered and dearly missed.

If desired, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.

Mrs Chin was always very kind, and welcoming to me. For the time that I knew her, she would put others before herself. "Auntie Cherry" lived her life her on her own terms, no matter what, but she was always guided by her faith. My heart goes out to her family. May Valerie rest in eternal peace.
