Obituary

Anna Wolwyn (72) of Swansea (Toronto) died suddenly in her apartment after a heroic and courageous 6-month battle with cancer. "An Angel Visited the Earth and Took a Flower Away"
Anna was born to Mykola and Zofia Wolwyn in Liege, Belgium, December 8th 1947 after the Second World War. After emigrating to Toronto in 1951, Anna attended Kent/Brock Public School and Central Tech High School.

She met and overcame many personal challenges in her life, but despite them she remained a gentle loving soul, kind and generous to family, friends and strangers alike. Her family fondly remembers and grieves her passing, and will miss her beautiful smile and infectious laughter.

Irene (husband John MacDonald, Michael and Tania MacDonald, Stephanie and Jason Silverberg) Lily (husband Gary Scott, Alex Scott and Daniel Deveaux, Samantha Scott) Nick (wife Helen Wolwyn, Steven Wolwyn), dearest lifelong friend from birth Luba Verhoeve (Klachuk) and all the Grandnephews and Grandniece, Jacob, Memphis, Monroe and Logan. Anna was loved by all.  The family wishes to thank the staff at Loft, St. Joseph Hospital, and the caring PSW's who attended so well to Anna's needs.
