I am very saddened to hear of Christine’s sudden death. She had a big spirit and was a compelling, creative writer. For many years we met up in writing classes to share our stories. She was very proud of her Ukrainian heritage and often shared stories about delicious,home-cooked Ukrainian food and how it was made. I also remember how much Christine appreciated good food and conversation and loved getting together to share an evening. In spite of ongoing health issues she always remained upbeat, kind and hopeful. Condolences to family and friends.
