TELIZYN, DARIA





After a long illness in Dunedin, Florida on March 21, 2005. Beloved daughter of Emil and the late Nina Telizyn. Loving niece of Oleg and his family. Daria was born in 1960 in Toronto. She began her musical education at the age of three at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, continued it at the University of Western Ontario, from which she received a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance. She studied for two years in Paris under Denyse Riviere, then at the Peabody Conservatory, which awarded her a Master of Music degree. The family will receive friends at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst Street (near Dundas) on Friday from 5-9 PM. Funeral service from St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Cathedral, 400 Bathurst Street on Saturday at 11:00 am. Interment to follow, St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery, Oakville."
