Ms. Hazel Dureen Martin

Obituary

Sister Hazel Dureen Martin was born in Amherst, Nova Scotia on January 16, 1935 and entered into her heavenly home on May 4, 2019.  She was the daughter of the late Charles Frederick Martin born in Oxford, Nova Scotia and Daisy Ida Jones born in Brookdale, Nova Scotia.  Sister Hazel was a sincere and devoted member of Triumphant Church of God, 1 Elrose Avenue, Toronto, Ontario.  She is lovingly remembered by brother Clifford Ronald (Sonny) Martin, sister-in-law Mrs. Alfred Martin (Sharon), many nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.  Sister Hazel was predeceased by three sisters: Shirley Dorene Martin-Major, Ruby Joyce Martin-Gabriel, Margaret Rose Martin.  Nine brothers: Alonzo Fredrick (Buster), Edward Freeman (Eddy), Walter Henry, Russell Charles, Robert William (Bobby), Wilfred Clarence, Alfred Allen (Al), Herbert Ralph (Herbie), Joseph Allan (Babe).  Sister Martin will be greatly missed by her relatives and friends.  May the Lord give comfort and strength to all those who mourn her loss.  In lieu of flowers, donations to CNIB Foundation – Canadian Diabetes Society would be greatly appreciated.  Following the burial service everyone is invited to the Recreation Room at 10 Boultbee Avenue where refreshments will be provided.
