Obituary

Peacefully on June 27th Jeannie Ferreira was called to heaven. She will be watching over all those that she loved. Remember her as she was her kind vibrant self, who always smiled and laughed everyday.     In her honour and legacy we are asking you to take part in at least one act of kindness in Jeannie’s memory. No matter how big or small that’s not important. The sky is the limit and the choice is yours. Kindness and spreading love is contiguous. That was Jeannie. If there’s anything the world needs right now it’s Jeannie’s energy of kindness and love. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody. Each of you can bring that to society for her. It can cost you nothing and be priceless at the same time. That’s what Jeannie would want from all of you, please take the time for her.       We trust that Jeannie lives on within all of us. Remember her always. Jeannie will forever be in our heart.         *********************

We are beyond heartbroken to learn of Jeannie's passing. What a beautiful, kind, bighearted woman. Family was everything to her and our love, hugs and deep condolences go out to her beautiful mother, Maria, and siblings Diane, Denise and George as well as the nephews and nieces she adored. We will always remember this lovely woman with her room lighting smile. Words will never be enough to say all we feel and we can only hope that time and memories will help you all through this devastating time. She is in her fabulous father George's strong embrace. I hope you can take some comfort in that.

My condolences to the family of Jeannie Ferreira. I was saddened to hear of her passing. I worked with Jeannie at MLSE. She was the first face I saw when I walked in to the office every morning. She was a super cool lady with a great smile and I enjoyed sharing some jokes with her, really down to earth. Rest in Peace and Love Jeannie

My sincere condolences to the whole family. Jeannie was such a warm, kind and generous person. I worked at 307 Lake Shore, a satellite office for MLSE broadcast and because of that didn't see her regularly like other employees did. When I did see her, we would speak Greek to each other, it was a joke we had together. She knew who I was and what I did and I ALWAYS had to stop by her desk just to say hi. I always thought of her as MLSE's most important employee, the first person most people would see every day, and always with a smile, a joke or something that made a person feel comfortable immediately. May she rest in peace, and may you as a family know how she touched the lives of so many people.

Jeanie was a constant bright light to every day at MLSE. She always had a joke (sometimes inappropriate which made it even better), always had a delicious baked good and ALWAYS had a smile on her face when we see each other in the elevator or at reception. I know she profoundly touched the lives of thousands of people she crossed paths with. I will miss her dearly and I know her impact will be cherished by everyone who had the great fortune to know her personally.
