Jerry Giroux
Liisa and I were friends as kids in Bramalea and I was lucky enough to stay in touch for many years while Liisa lived in Calgary. Liisa was younger than me. She had skipped one of the grades in order to enter our year because she was an amazing student and frankly maybe a genius, an IQ probably off the charts. She could ace any test without trying, equally adept verbally and in math and science (which separated us scholastically) Most memorable was her 24/7 smile and infectious laugh. Liisa invited me to dinner at her Mom's town-home when we were young and her prowess in the kitchen was amazing. Again, at her apartment years later in Calgary she prepared a gourmet meal for me. Both Liisa and her little sister, Diana were the cutest girls in town. Talented, loveable and a joy to be around, I try not to cry because it's over. I try to Smile because it happened. Diana and family we are thinking of you and wishing you peace and comfort as you remember Liisa Jerry Giroux, Toronto

Diana and Milvie, I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Liisa as a gorgeous young lady, almost impossibly beautiful. Gone too soon...
