I am a Parkdalian but was unable to attend the reunion as I live in Guelph. I remember Nina coming to Canada as I also attended Givins Public School. We were so excited about teaching her English. We were never in the same class, so I didn't get to know Nina over the years. My grandfather, T Kozachenko, was an elder at St. Mary's and passed away about the same time that Nina came to Canada in 1949/50. There are so many memories and so much missed. Elaine Maukonen/Salo.
