Obituary

Olive Antonyshyn of Toronto, Ontario passed away peacefully after a brave battle with cancer with her brother Bob (Theodore) at her side, at The Dorothy Ley Hospice in Etobicoke on November 10, 2021 at the age of 79.  Sister to Walter (Ingrid) and Bob.  Predeceased by her sister Rosalie (Ruth) Leshchyshen (September 2021) and brother Roy Antonyshyn (February 2008) and parents Magdalene (June 1977) and Fred (June 1990) Antonyshyn.

She will be lovingly remembered by her nephews Bohdan Leshchyshen (Myroslava)  and Dmytro Leshchyshen (Luba) and their children Oleh, Orest (Lindsay), Olena, Matei (Christina) and her extended family in Western Canada and Ukraine. 

The Antonyshyn family is very grateful to the wonderful palliative care team at The Dorothy Ley Hospice.

 

Beginning July 16, 2021 the Bereavement Authority of Ontario is once again permitting visitations and services to take place that are open to the public. We must continue to maintain physical distancing, the wearing of masks and may not allow more than 40 guests at any one time. Once the maximum limit has been reached, we will ask any additional guests to kindly wait outside in a physically-distanced line until there is room to enter safely.
