TWERDOCHLIB, Nadia. It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Nadia on Wednesday November 18, 2015 in her 91st year. Loving wife of 62 years to William (Wasyl). Proud mother to her son Orest and his wife Daria. Cherished Babusia (grandmother) of Katherine Petruk and her husband Andrew, and Stefan with his fiancé Larissa Lunel. Extremely proud prababusia (great-grandmother) of Ryan Petruk. Although stricken by grief, we are still filled with joy at the life she led, the lessons she taught and the love she had for family. She will forever be remembered for her strength, humour and Ukrainian sayings. A very special thank you to her dedicated physician, Dr. Camille Lemieux, at Toronto Western Hospital for many years of outstanding care. Friends are invited to visit at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette Street, just east of Keele St., on Sunday November 22, 2015 from 6-9 p.m. Panachyda at 7 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at the All Saints Chapel, St. Volodymyr Community Centre, 1280 Dundas St. W., Oakville, on Monday November 23, 2015 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Volodymyr Cemetery.
