Dear Wally,
Victor and I were shocked to hear yesterday of the passing of your beloved wife, Orysia. A beautiful woman and a loving heart. We were away from the 7th but my father informed me yesterday who in turn had been informed by Marika Skirko this past Sunday. Please accept deepest condolences from my father, my sister Nadia, Victor, our children and myself. I'm so sorry we didn't hear soon enough to offer prayers at the panakhyda and funeral. We wish you and your family God's peace and healing as you go forward. Нехай спочиває з Богом. Вічна її пам'ять.

My condolences on the passing of Iris. I worked with Iris several for years here at the Attorney General. Iris was a dedicated part of the Court Services Division, a wealth of knowledge and patience to other Division colleagues, and more than that, she was a sweet, friendly and lovely person. Always helpful and cheery. She will always be remembered fondly by me and all who knew her.

Iris was one of the finest persons I have ever met. A wonderful colleague. A completely dedicated and highly respected public servant who offered the people of Ontario incredible service over several decades. One of the great unsung heroes. Her loss is felt deeply. I am sad to hear about Iris. She was our head office colleague who dealt with regional communications and issues management. I remember that she was always helpful, collegial and calm under pressure. Iris was an amazing colleague and friend. She was such a supportive, positive, caring individual who was always willing to help a co-worker. She was always smiling and happy when I would drop by her office to say hello. She was so proud of her children and was always sharing stories of their successes. She will be truly missed. My experience with Iris was that she was always caring, always interested, always there to offer a beautiful smile and some words, often funny, always with insight and empathy. After I left 720 Bay, we would still meet up at times by chance on the transit and she would share stories of her children most of all, full of pride and love. My deepest condolences. I have so much to thank Iris (as I knew her) for. I met her when I started at MAG in 2001. She helped me settle in to my first position. She gave me the opportunity to branch out and was instrumental in getting me on my current path. She became much more than a colleague. She was my friend. She populated my garden with clippings and bulbs. Those plants still thrive. She told me stories of her family. She was so proud of her children. My thoughts are with you all. May you continue to thrive and your memories sustain you. She was a special lady. I miss her now. I will continue to do so.
