It will be 30 years on September 11th that Father Antero performed our marriage ceremony and I will always remember our pilgrimage to the Holy Land in 1982. He was always such a gracious man who carried out his priestly duties with honour respect and integrity. We could never fall asleep during his homilies of life stories. You fought the good fight finished the race and kept the faith now enter into the home of your Father. Grant him eternal rest o Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him! My sincere condolences to you all. Padre Antero is a special person whom I wont forget. From my toddler years to teenage years with the youth group at St. Agnes Church in the early 80's, he was a fundamental influence in my life. Always with a smile on his face and a gentle Hi Lucy greeting. Throughout the years he has presided in funeral services for family members at St. agnes with dignity and integrity. He is one of a kind and his soulful persona will not be forgotten. May he rest in peace in all god's glory.
