Hi Emely - I am so sorry to hear that your Dad has passed away. I know how difficult it is - it is mixed feelings as one is glad that the pain and suffering is over but sad at losing their physical presence. However, he is and will always be with you in spirit.

I was sorry to hear about your dad. I lost mine seven years ago, so I know what you are going through.
My dad died of lung cancer, but at least I have a lot of good memories of him.

Marilyn and I extend our most heartfelt sympathies. It doesn't seem to matter how old our parents and grandparents are or how ill they are, or whether we rationally know that they are going to a better place and won't suffer anymore, the loss of a parent and grandparent leaves a hole, a void, that isn't filled easily. We can only hope that our faith in God, knowing that He provides a place for all of us when we return to Him, will sustain us in our time of loss. May that faith sustain you. God bless.
