Obituary
Lumsden, Rose – 1920 – 2016 Peacefully at the age of 96, with family by her side on October 31, 2016. Rose is survived by her sons Michael and Glenn (Mary), her grandchildren Tyler, Stephanie ( Greg ), Jennifer (Anthony ), Athena and George, and her great-grandchildren Warren and Harlan. She will also be missed by many other family members and friends. Rose has been reunited with her parents, her sister Josie, her brothers Arthur and Joe, and her daughter Carole. The family most sincerely thanks the staff and her caregivers at Kensington Gardens. Visitation will be held at the Cardinal funeral home, Bathurst chapel, 366 Bathurst St. Toronto, Ont. On Friday November 4, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will take place at St. Francis of Assisi Church 72 Mansfield Ave, Toronto, Ont. On Saturday November 5th 2016 at 9:30 a.m. The church that Rose held dear to her heart, attended and served for over 50 years. Interment to follow, at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Thornhill, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi church, Kensington Gardens, or charity of choice.Visitation

So sorry for your loss Glen and Michael. This is the end of an era and a big important part of my heritage as well as your own loss.
