Keeping You Safe
Our beloved Stella Romanyk passed away peacefully at the Village of Humber Heights long term care facility in Toronto on the morning of April 25, 2021. Stella felt cared for and loved by many of the staff at Humber Heights and for that, the family is deeply grateful. She is predeceased by her son, Michael, her sister, Margaret Leshchshyn, and her brother, Michael Lyne. Stella will be sorrowfully missed by her family: her children and their spouses Christine Vourlas (Tasso), Nadine Janes (Curtis), and Steven Romanyk (Prescilda DeSilva); her grandchildren Hayley Janes, Karlie Janes, Parker Janes, and Nicholas Vourlas. A gentle soul with a big heart, Stella’s children were her life. The simple things brought her joy, whether it was spending time with her growing family, enjoying a home-cooked meal, or watching the Toronto Blue Jays hit homeruns. Stella will always be remembered for the strong woman she was, who took what life had to offer with grace and gave what she could in return.
Please contact Christine at 647-294-1448 or Nadine at 647-228-7906 should you wish to attend.

We encourage those that are unable to attend in person to express their sympathy by posting a message of condolence to our website, donating to a charity of your choice in memory of your loved one or by sending flowers to the funeral home.
