Obituary

Tom would always be helping those in need. He would always give people who were less fortunate than him, money for a coffee or just to help out. One of the most generous ways you could honour his kind soul would be to, make any contribution regardless of how small, to any frontline outreach program for the less fortunate or Homeless shelter. The Salvation Army was one of his favourites.

I also worked alongside Tom; we went to Plant Technician School for 10 weeks. He sat in the back and always seemed to be sleeping. We had an exam weekly which hi mark was usually 100%. Tom was one of the best teks and a great friend. We would run to 'buck-a-beer'for lunch.

I am saddened by the loss of Tom. I will miss waving to him as he sped by on his rollerblades, chatting about our favourite places in our neighbourhood and debating with him about the state of Toronto's professional sports teams for which his faith never wavered! He was a good man and he will be missed. My sincere condolences to his family.

Tom is a person you'll remember for the rest of your life for all the right reasons. Always with that smile and a love to have fun. I was fortunate to work with Tom and also play softball with him for many years. He was a great sportsman and I did hear him play guitar on more than one occasion. My condolences to his family.

My condolences to Tom's family on his passing. I had the honor and privilege of learning from, and working with Tom when I was working in TX and while I was working from Orbitor Drive. No matter how busy he was, he always had time to work with any tech who needed help. Tom was always upbeat and had a great positive attitude. He was one of the best employee's the company ever had.

I am so sorry for your family's loss. Tom was such a joy to be around. Always happy, always cheerful and willing to help out at work and anytime. I don't think he ever missed a baseball game unless he was on vacation. I looked forward to playing ball with Tom as he was just so happy to be around friends and colleagues. He will definitely be missed.

Tom will be remembered as a kind hearted and wise component in our lives as technicians working for Allstream. He had the toughest job of anyone and did his work without failure or complaint. I am grateful for his help to make the company successful and for his teaching. He was a good guy.

I went to school with Tom and even way back then he was a "salt of the earth" type of person. I always remember watching him play with his band at our public school dances which inspired me to take on a music career too. I haven,t seen Tom since high school and was shocked to hear of his passing. My sympathies to his family, this truly is a great loss
