Obituary

God called Laura Penacho peacefully at Toronto Western Hospital surrounded by her family on November 26, 2025. She was born and raised in Rabo De Peixe in Sao Miguel Acores, Portugal. She is now reunited in heaven with her husband, kids, grandkids, great grandkid, siblings and family members. She was a mother of 9 kids Manuel Penacho ( Fatima ), Alzira Penacho (José), Jose Penacho ( Goretti), Laudalina Pacheco (Manuel), Eduardo Penacho (Maria), Maria Gouveia (Viriato), Lucia Ferreira, Joao Amaral (Lucia), Maria Cabral (Jose). Grandmother of 45, Great Grandmother of 70 and Great great grandmother of 4. She will be held dearly in the hearts of her family and friends. Laura was a midwife back home which she brought lots of lives to this world and loved helping other. She not only raised her 9 children but also helped contribute to the generations that followed. She was always the light in every room she was in. She loved baking bread back home, loved flowers, taking pictures and having a glass of wine during dinner time. Her legacy will live on forever.
