Obituary

Carl Melvin Feldstein passed away peacefully on Saturday, 23 November 2025, at Toronto Western Hospital, one day after his eighty-eighth birthday. His long and remarkable life was defined by quiet resilience, sharp wit, and an unwavering devotion to the people he loved.

Carl is survived by his partner of nearly forty years, Josephine Prezioso, with whom he shared a life grounded in loyalty, warmth, and enduring companionship. Their bond was the kind that weathered every season—steady, genuine, and deeply cherished.

A man who valued tradition but embraced change with good-humoured pragmatism, Carl navigated life with both a steady hand and an open mind. Whether offering thoughtful advice, sharing a dry joke at just the right moment, or simply being a dependable presence, he made his mark in ways that will continue to echo among those who knew him.

A celebration of Carl’s life will be held at Cardinal Funeral Homes on Saturday, 6 December, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather, reflect, and honour his memory. Following the service, a private family ceremony will take place at Prospect Cemetery.

Carl lived a full life—quietly impactful, rooted in love, and carried with dignity. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
