Obituary

Our loving father, grandfather, husband and friend, Terry Nestoruk, 71 years old passed away on August 29, 2025, in Toronto with his family by his side. Terry was a devoted family man who lived his life with love and purpose, always putting his wife, children, and four beloved grandchildren at the center of everything he did. He was generous with his time and attention, creating lasting memories and teaching all of us the true importance of family bonds.
Terry was a pillar of strength whom we all deeply respected and looked up to. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled in us and the love he shared so freely. He will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Terry was born on April 27, 1954, to Maria and Joseph Nestoruk.

In 1974 Terry met his beloved wife Deborah (Debbie) Mason in Toronto, Ontario. Terry and Debbie went on to have three children, Tracy, Tammy Lynn, and Jodi Jeanette Nestoruk.

Terry was preceded in death by his beloved wife Deborah (Debbie) Nestoruk in October of last year. After months of missing her deeply, he can now take her hand once again and walk beside her in eternal peace. Their love story continues beyond this life, and they are together once more.

Terry will forever and always live in our hearts.

The family requests that you consider donating to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of our father Terry.

I dont know where to start so I'd like to share a story with everyone. The Nestrouks have been a part of my life since the beginning of my life. I do not remember a time when they were not in my memories at one point or another for the last 50 years. I cant say that about many other people. A memory that stands out took place at Tracy's 11th birthday party. As was the thing parents did back then, the adults were upstairs and us kids were downstairs in the basement goofing around. We were being naughty and letting other kids in through the basement window and before we knew it there was a mass of kids from the neighborhood inside the house( even boys) . Terry came down and saw what we were up to and he was so mad. He said" ok that's it everbody out and go home". The party was officially over and I was hastily trying to make my escape to run back across the street to Nanny and Gramps house..... I digress,,,, All of the kids were filing out and at the last moment Terry looks at me and points( yall know when he pointed his finger right???😬) and says" NOT YOU, YOU GET BACK IN THERE". And for the rest of my life it sayed much the same. I spent many many many years at the Nestoruk home. Always welcome, always safe, always fed and always a cozy corner to sleep in. Never treated any differently than he and Deb treated thier own daughters. I will never forget it and I will always be grateful for the love they shared. I cant imagine what the family is going through today and I wish I could be there to sit with them but unfortunately I can not. So I thought I would share just one amazing memory with yall. Im sure you all have your own that are much the same. Sending hugs and love and strength xo
