Obituary
On February 26th, 1966, on the island of São Miguel, Açores, my parents were blessed with the birth of their much beloved, youngest daughter, Adelia.
Her other eight siblings Graced with God’s testimony, great witness to the purest of Love and the light that lit every place she occupied.
On November 17th, 2025, with the deepest loss ever to be felt, Adelia, heard God’s call, “Come my sweet daughter, Job well done.”
God gave us Adelia to communicate True Love, the fight for Love and Family and that Love is enough.
We say goodbye with outstretched arms waiting for the day in God’s Kingdom, when her creator, her maker, will unite us together again as a family, embracing, kissing, hugging, and dancing together in joy.
Josiah was 8 years of age when he became King and at 16 years of age, he sought the Lord and at 20 years old he purified Judah. God uses young people to lead and to be instruments of change. Adelia, just like Jusiah, God used Adelia, the youngest to lead and bring change. She reminds us God can use anyone.
Adelia would want us to remember to be kind and compassionate to one another and to forgive one another just as Christ forgives.
In her infinite wisdom, Adelia asked us, and we ask you, live your best lives.
Rest in peace our Little Doll Faced Leader.
In loving memory of Adelia, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Canadian Diabetes Association or the CNIB would be warmly appreciated.
