Obituary
In Loving Memory
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Angelo Ariganello, on December 30th, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
He was a loving husband to his wife Rosarina (predeceased) of 50 years. He is survived by his cherished children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Angelo immigrated to Canada in the early 1950’s and eventually settled in Little Italy (Toronto) where he proved that with hard work, determination and a strong network of family and friends, anything could be accomplished.
He actively volunteered at St Francis of Assisi Church as an usher, decorated the church’s outdoor nativity scene at Christmas and helped coordinate the annual Good Friday procession for many years. Angelo loved to play cards, watch soccer and tend to his vegetable garden.
He was an independent man of strong convictions, with an undying belief in the value of family, education, and hard work. Angelo will always be remembered for his kindness, generosity, selflessness and love for his family.
He filled his home with stories, laughter, pizza and pasta and of course a sprinkle of advice.
Angelo will be deeply missed, but forever loved and remembered by all who knew him.
Rest easy.
If desired memorial donations in Angelo's memory can be made to either the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
