Obituary

With the heaviest of hearts, we announce the passing of Elvina Oliveira, born on April 20, 1934 in Azores, Portugal and passed away on July 19, 2020 at the age of 86. She was a loving wife for 61 years to her late husband Luis who preceded her in death on June 8, 2020.  They will now be joined together and looking down at their children Maria (Jorge), Manny (Anna), Humberto (Carmelina), Nelson (Paula).  Elvina also was a cherished Avo (grandmother) of Kevin, Celina, Kyle, Julian, Megan and Aaron.  She was also a great grandmother to Tyson, Reef and Breeze.
Mothers hold their children’s hands for a while, but their hearts forever.  She will be in our hearts forever and never forgotten.  May she rest in peace.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to either Princess Margaret Hospital or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.  The Oliveira Family would like to thank everyone for their support during this difficult time.
