Obituary
It is with profound sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Helena Correia Machado formerly of Edmonton at the age of 87. She leaves to mourn her passing, her daughter Marta (Jose Carlos) Carreiro of Toronto and her sons Antonio (Donna) Machado, Eduardo Machado, grandsons Matthew and Peter Machado, goddaughter Fatima Cabral-Brockie, daughter in law Carmen Machado and her “grandson” Jordan Peters, nieces Maria Cabral, Luisa Cabral, and nephews Carlos and Bert Cabral of Edmonton and niece Margaret Mello and her special sister in law Elvira Correia of Somerset Mass. Numerous friends in Edmonton and Toronto will also mourn her passing. Predeceased by her husband Antonio, parents and sisters Maria do Carmo Botelho, Eduarda Cabral and brothers Manuel and Antonio Correia, nephews John Cabral and Manuel Correia. I remeber you always being in your kitchen, always asking if I wanted to eat. I will miss you terribly. You will be in my prayers, and everytime I look at your grandsons I will think of you. They loved you very much.
