Obituary

Bohdan was born in the village of Zolota Sloboda in Western Ukraine. Surviving the war years at a young age, Bohdan later emigrated to Canada. He settled in Ontario and married Anna Antypenko with whom he raised two children, Myroslava and Roman. Bohdan worked hard and loved to learn something new every day. He worked as a mechanical engineer at Standard Modern Tool Co. for over 40 years. His strong religious beliefs helped him overcome the numerous health struggles of his wife’s and of his own. He inspired those around him with his resilience and strength, both mentally and physically. This was demonstrated by his determination to attend Aquafit classes for over 25 years until 3 weeks before his death.

We, his children and grandchildren, are grateful for the long life Bohdan lived and the precious memories he leaves behind.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made directly to Canada-Ukraine Foundation
