Mr. Jose Maria Fumo

Obituary

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jose Maria Fumo, 81, on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at the Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga. Jose was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He deeply missed his dear wife Belmira since her death in April 2003 but found great comfort in his strong faith and the love of his family. He treasured each of his three children and seven grandchildren and enjoyed the time spent with them talking and sharing stories. He was happiest when surrounded by those he loved the most and loved nothing better than making people laugh. Now he is reunited with his beloved wife and our cherished mother Belmira. Dearest Pai, Sogro and Vovo, you always asked of us "Nunca esquecer de mim". Please know that we never will. May you rest now, in peace and free from pain with God and the angels. Sadly missed by his children Iria (Fernando) Lopes, Valdemira (Joe) Cabral and Joe (Angie) Fumo. Beloved grandfather of Andrew, Steven, Robert, Fernando, Kathy, Joshua and Natalya. He will be sadly missed by his sisters and their families and all his relatives and friends. Friends may call at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst Street (near Dundas) on Saturday July 15, from 4 - 9 pm and Sunday July 16, from

2 - 4 & 6 - 9pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday July 17, 2006, 10 am in St. Mary's Church. Entombment to follow at Prospect Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family. "
