Obituary

June 10, 1971 – November 06, 2012. After a devastatingly sudden and brief battle with cancer, we are sad to announce that Richard Pawlak passed away at UHN’s Toronto Western Hospital on November 6, 2012. Taken from us far too early at the age of 41 Richard was predeceased by his father Sylwester Pawlak, survived by his mother Maria Sniegula, step-father Stanislaw Sniegula, sister Arleta Kocken and husband Jeff, brother Andrew Pawlak and wife Diana, nephews Kevin and Darren Kocken and Thomas and Sean Pawlak, cousins Maria Suzuki and husband Nobu and Yola Butts and husband Bill He lives on in our memories and through donation to the Trillium Gift of Life Program. Special thanks to the GI surgical team, doctors and nurses in ICU and 9B at Toronto Western Hospital for all their efforts and care through-out. Visitation hours are Friday November 9 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with Rosary starting at 6:00 pm At Cardinal Funeral Home Bathurst Chapel, 366 Bathurst Street, Toronto, Ontario Funeral service to be held Saturday November 10, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 12 Dennison Avenue, Toronto, Ontario with internment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill, Ontario.
