Spano, Caterina, Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Toronto Western Hospital in her 89th year. Caterina was predeceased by her loving husband Paolo. Beloved mother to Dominic and Maria. Proud grandmother to Michael (Elise). Doting "Nonna Nonna" to Wesley Philip. Dear sister to Teresa and Adornata. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her family and friends. Friends may call at Cardinal Funeral Homes, 366 Bathurst Street, on Thursday August 2, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m, Friday, August 3, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church followed by the entombment at Prospect Cemetery. Donations made in memory of Caterina would be greatly appreciated by the family to the Sick Kids Foundation in lieu of flowers.
