Karpij, Polina - peacefully at home with her family on June 12th, 2011 in Mississauga in her 93rd year. Beloved wife to the late Porfirij. Cherished mother to Constantine Sherstiuk and Catherine Elliott and husband Bob. Loving grandmother of Lisa, Victoria & Myles. She was loved & will be missed by all members of the Szadyr & Milchinski families of Michigan. Visitation will be held at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St. (east of Keele) on Thursday, June 16th from 2 -4 & 6-8 p.m. Panakhyda will be held at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 17th at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Mandarin Restaurant at 1255 The Queensway (east of Kipling) If desired, donations to the Children of Chernobyl would be appreciated.
