Obituary

HALUZA, Amelia Maria (Mary) Suddenly at Bridgepoint Active Health Centre at the age of 70. Loving mother to Christopher, dear brother to Walter (Eleanor), Aunt to Clayton and Sarah, and family and friends in both Canada and Slovakia. Special thanks to close friends Amelia Campbell and Georgina Svodoba for their hospital visits over the last six months. Amelia was the daughter of the late John and Annastazia Haluza and was predeceased by her sibling John Joseph Haluza. Amelia led an active life and was a long term employee of the City of Toronto. Amelia is resting at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst Street, Toronto with visitation on Monday, January 23rd 6 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 24th at St. Paul Basilica Parish, 83 Power Street, at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto.
