Obituary

Rowbotham, Anne Fleming (nee Freeman) – Peacefully at The Annex Retirement Home in Toronto on June 27, 2016 in her 105th year. Pre-deceased many years ago by her loving husband Bruce. Much loved mother of Brian and Laurel and their spouses Marianne Rowbotham and Brian Brown. Proud grandmother of Craig (and Lisa), Peter (and Laurie) and Robin Rowbotham, Jason Brown and Deborah Wearn, Matt and Andrea Brown, Tricia and Dave Agocs. Great Grandmother of Max, Claire, John, Broderick, Braden, Naomi and Maggie. Anne was born in 1912 in Markham, Ontario where she grew up on the family farm. She was the daughter of George and Nellie Freeman, sister of Helen Little. She lived in Cornwall, Ontario for most of her adult life, most recently at Chateau Cornwall, before moving to Toronto two years ago to be closer to her family. The family will celebrate Anne's remarkable life at a Memorial Service at Cardinal Funeral Home at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 27. The family wishes to thank the outstanding staff at The Annex Retirement Home and all of the many friends who have sent condolences.
