Obituary
Anastasia “Nastia” Kondratenko, 100 years, passed away at London Victoria Hospital on January 26, 2026 where she met ovarian cancer with unwavering strength and grace.
Anastasia was born in Duchenzi Ukraine, the eldest child of Roman and Priska Krawchenko. Predeceased by brother Andy Krawchenko and sisters Maria Huk and Helen Rynda. She was the loving wife of Yuchm Kondratenko, predeceased.
Lovingly remembered by her children Mila (John) Watts and Jake (Donna) Seifert. Her grandchildren Tia (Jim) Clements, Anastasia (Juan) Seifert, and Ryan (Linda) Seifert. As well as her great grandchildren, Verity and Esmé Clements and Amelia and Eloise Jimenez Seifert.
Anastasia showed warmth and compassion to all she met. When she wasn’t enjoying her winter months in Florida, she found peace and joy in her Red Bay gardens, selling and sharing her vegetables with neighbors and Roadside visitors.
Visitation and Service will be held Thursday January 29th, 2026, at St Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery in Oakville Ontario.
Visitation will be held from 10:30am-12:30 pm with church service to follow at All Saint’s Chapel at 12:30 pm. Burial procession will immediately follow before a lunch reception at 2:30 at the cultural centre on site.
