Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Veber Correia on April 27, 2026, at the age of 101.

Veber was born in Açores, Portugal, in the small town of Povoação. He later immigrated to Canada, where he built a life rooted in hard work, dedication, and a deep love for his family. Through determination and perseverance, he created a lasting legacy that will be remembered for generations to come.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Urselina Correia, whom he loved dearly and missed deeply.

Veber was a proud and devoted father to his five children: Joe, Nelson, Venilia, Avelino, and Veber. He was also a cherished father-in-law to Alice, Mira, the late Carlos, Frecia, and Christine.

Nothing brought Veber more joy than his family. He leaves behind 16 loving grandchildren and 15 treasured great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense pride and happiness to his life.

He will be remembered for his strength, wisdom, generosity, and the love he shared so freely with those around him. His guidance, his stories, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Forever loved, always remembered, and never forgotten.
